Lull 844C-42

I don't have time to fix this machine so I am selling it as-is. My loss.

This is a 8000# capacity lift, goes up 42 feet. Has 4 wheel steer, frame tilt and fork carriage tilt. Also has transversing carriage. Foam filled tires - around 70% tread,,, one mis match tire. Cummins turbo diesel, starts and runs good, no smoke. Hour meter reads 1064 or so hours.??

The bad - The boom lift functions don't work unless it is warmed up, and you rev the engine way up. The main pump builds pressure after you start it like it should. I think that the pilot control pressure is low or something electrical isn't letting the functions work. The machine steers and brakes fine. Park brake not working. Transmission goes in fwd and rev but only in 1st gear. It has a few oil leaks, worst one is a steering cylinder seal. There is some repair weld on a brace under the boom - professional weld job.

Has a new seat, engine has been serviced up.

This is a good project machine for a mechanic. All parts can be ordered thru JLG.... you can look thru service and parts manuals on their website for free. (JLG owns Lull).
