Champ Crl-60 Telescopic Forklift 6000 Lb Lift, Perkins, Needs Work, Project

classifieds board I bought this several years ago as a project. The previous owner had used it for his construction business and he said it kept losing power over time and eventually wouldn't run anymore. Its been sitting inside my shed until a few weeks ago. I'm guessing the motor has low compression and needs rebuilt. It would be a great project for someone that is more mechanical than me. It has a Perkins 4.236 diesel engine in it. No batteries included. I'm pretty sure the starter needs rebuilt as well. I tried to get it running and eventually the starter quit turning it over. He said everything else was working fine. I can try to help load this onto a trailer with ramps but I don't have a loading dock.
