Towmotor 15,000 Lbs Forklift - Pre-caterpillar Fork Truck Lift

This lift was used sparingly for an occasional heavy lift - and was last used approximately 4 years ago. There were no known problems when last used but I am sure the passage of time, and being left outside, hasn’t helped anything. I haven’t tried to start it and fully expect someone will need to tinker with it before it is useable again. However, I think there is plenty of life left in this and it could/should be a lot of lift for the money.

I don’t mean to be difficult but I won’t be working on it nor delivering it - please, if you are bidding, understand you are bidding on it “as is, where is”.

What I know, from when last used:

Brakes worked;

Transmission (single speed) worked in forward and reverse;

Mast raised and lowered as it should and lifted every bit of the 15,000 lift capacity;

Slight fluid leaks, nothing major;

5’ forks are straight;

No side shift;

Fork carriage has a bend in it (makes sliding one of the forks difficult);

Hard tires are in good shape;

Propane (LP) powered - two cylinders come with it;

6V electrical system;

Thing sinks like a rock if it’s not on firm ground;

I estimate it weighs approximately 20,000lbs;

It’s old, it’s slow, it’s heavy, and beyond that I don’t guarantee anything... I am happy to answer questions, provide pictures, or show it to anyone interested. I’m not trying to hide the ball, just trying to clear out stuff I’m not using.
