Don't let the cheap price scare you.   I sell good forklifts and I sell them quickly.  My descriptions are accurate, just check my feedback! 

 This auction is for a MECHANIC SPECIAL Caterpillar forklift.   It is a 4,000 lbs capacity, LP Gas Forklift that runs and drives but has several issues.   It was traded in to me yesterday so I don't know much about it other than the customer was using it every day even though it has issues.   I am listing this forklift assuming a mechanic will be purchasing it and doing the repairs before putting it in operation.    I am selling this at just above scrap value so there are no disappointments.    Call me if you have questions!      

Engine:    engine runs great with no smoke  - BUT IT HAS OIL LEAKS.  Engine and trans are both wet underneath      

Transmission: Automatic trans shifts great  - BUT IT HAS LEAKS

Paint:  Fair condition.   The usual scratches and scrapes from use.

Tires:  fair to poor condition - they roll kinda smooth though    

Brakes:  The BRAKES DO NOT WORK but the parking brake does - go figure.... Usually that is opposite

Hydraulics:  Power steering and sideshifter -  all hydraulics work like they should BUT THERE ARE LEAKS  - LIFT CYL LEAKS, TILT CYL LEAKS, STEER CYL LEAKS

Seat: -  NOT good,  if it rains, you will be wet for a day or two

Lp tank is not included because trucking companies do not allow me to send them.   I can ship a new one for an added fee to you on ups if you prefer.
