For sale is one vintage fork lift. Buyer can take part or all, and leave unwanted part(s).
This machine is located in South Holland Illinois, a south suburb of Chicago near Northwest Indiana. Easily accessible near the intersection of Interstate 80 (I-80) and Interstate 94 (I-94).
This would be best hauled by a flat-bed tow truck, with a winch available to pull at least 6000 pounds. The location is easily accessed by any flat bed tow truck. Bring plenty of chains and/or 5000-lb straps.
This is currently for sale for best offer. If no agreeable offers within about 12 days, an auction with no reserve will start on September 6th at about 1 pm and end 1 week later. Showings are available- just message us.
This had been used for many years in a warehouse to move electric appliances around mainly inside a building, and sometimes outside on pavement only; and to raise/lower appliances from a 2nd floor about 14 feet up. The business is semi-retired and the machine is no longer worth maintaining for the low amount of business currently being done. The fork lift had been used up until about 2 years ago,
The key is still in the ignition.
Almost all parts are still in/ on the machine, so it can either be restored or used for parts. This has in the engine compartment, the electric starter motor, inline 4- cylinder motor, radiator, transmission and hydraulic system. The distributor, cap, and all 5 wires are present. The 4 spark plugs look newer. We have a fully-charged used 12 volt car battery with which the buyer can use temporarily on the premises to test things on the vehicle- (not included in this auction).
Condition: On this machine, there is no known significant unwanted cracks; bend; hole; marking(s); gouges; and no water or fire damage. The original forks are included and the mast is complete. Known flaws are that the seat padding is missing, but the wooden base of the seat is still present. The propane hose cracked, so that needs to be replaced
