Hyster 56 or 560 (can't read)

Used Hyster 6000# Forklift

You are bidding on a used Hyster Forklift Model 56 or 560 (can't read nameplate) w/ serial # D002D1C4058 which runs fine and all hydraulics work but it is NOT able to be put into gear because the shifting linkage between the shift (forward & reverse) lever and transmission is broken and NOT working. This forklift is a propane fuel unit with one (1) propane tank. It has 6" wide X 48" long adjustable forks. The tires are OK and are hard rubber tires. It says it lifts from 5600# to 6250# depending on where the load is per the fork diagram. It says the lift height is 159.5". It says the total weight is approximately 10,000#. This forklift was used daily up until 3 weeks ago when the shifting linkage broke. They needed one right away for daily business functions so, they bought a little larger and newer used one. This forklift was used in a small machine shop in Simi Valley, CA 93063 where it is stored right now and where it is ready for you to pick up for free. We don't know the year model but would guess early to mid sixties. This forklift is being sold as is where is and is ready for pick-up immediately. You will receive a Bill of Sale upon receipt of payment. It is a great forklift for lifting or loading materials on hard surfaces and, with a little work, could be a very good and reasonable buy.
