Lull 944 E42
classifieds board Here is a basic video of startup and functions check *I hadn't started it in ~2weeks and it took a few turns to start, but fired up without an issue. This is a 1990 Lull 622-4 that has had a lot of work done over the last several months and should be good to go for your needs. What has been done:In frame engine rebuild late this spring (~15 hours since rebuild and that is reflected in the new gauge)Both main boom cylinders rebuiltAll electrical wiring replaced (except rear wheel assist)All gauges replaced (oil pressure gauge glass is broken from dropping a wrench, but doesn't effect the functionality)Ignition switch replacedFuel injectors replaced (pen style)Rubber fuel lines replacedSteel engine mount replacedRubber engine mounts have been replacedFull fluids flush and replaceAll filters replacedNumerous hydraulic lines replacedWhat has not been done:Reverse warning beeper installedLights installedOil change following rebuild (Service manual calls for change at 100 hrs)Control valve has not been adjusted (Mast very slowly lowers itself. This should be corrected if you plan to put someone in a cage and lift them, if you only move material it isn't an issue.Rear wheel assist (The rear wheel assist was not connected when I bought it and I didn't need it, so I never bothered with it. It appears everything is there and there does are no obvious leaks.)The parking brake does not function (this was not an issue for me, but is worthy of attention).Other things to consider:This engine (John Deere 4239DF) is known to be a hard start in winter. Before the rebuild, I was able to start it at 30F with a couple of magnetic block heaters on the pan, some moving blankets over the top, and some starter fluid. I have not had cold weather since, but the original manufacturer recommended an ether kit. -Buyer intending to use this in cold climates beware. You may want to swap out this single 12V battery for higher current dual 6V.There is a minor leak with the control valve that is connected to the top of the main left boom. It wasn't much, so I wasn't too concerned with it. This part looks like the previous owner may have replaced a part. I'll post a pic of both sides and you'll see what I mean.Tires are pneumatic, but foam filled. This thing has a curb weight of 22,000lbs so plan accordingly. Last fall it cost me ~$1.10/mile from Missouri to MN. You are welcome to self-transport, but I need this gone within 2 weeks of auction close. I can assist with loading if needed. You are welcome to come see it before auction closes, but the sale is final.Payment:I will send an invoice for a $500 deposit within 48 hours of end of sale.
