I am always hesitant to use the term “refurbished”, but we really have done a lot of work on this forklift in the last several months, spending close to $10k on parts and labor. This machine has been fully checked, lubricated, and tested. All mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems are good to go. No structural issues, no mechanical issues, no leaks. Good sheet metal and good glass all the way around. Full PM and tune up. Cab is in good shape and theair ride seat functions properly and has no rips or tears. Doors and windows work properly (no cracked glass). Fans and heater work. Windshield wiper works. All gauges work. Everything works! Really the only thing we haven’t done is paint it.
• 6 new tires and 6 new tubes at a cost of almost $3000, after mounting. The new tires are Galaxy Yardmaster 9.00 x 20.
•Both tilt cylinders and also both mast/lift cylinders have been removed and re-packed and resealed (tolerances were also checked), at a cost of over $1500. Several hydraulic lines and fittings have also been replaced. Both chains on the mast were removed, cleaned, and then reinstalled and lubricated. We removed the carriage assembly, cleaned the mast channels and checked all the thrust blocks for wear. The thrust blocks are in like new condition. The mast utilizes west blocks instead of roller bearings.
• The air system has been overhauled with numerous valves, regulators, fittings and air lines being replaced. The air tank was removed, cleaned, and pressure tested.
• The brake system (air brakes) was inspected when the tires were changed, and the brake pads also show lots of life remaining. Both brake slack adjusters are brand new. Both brake chambers have new diaphragms. The parking brake does also work.
• All fluid filters have been replaced, along with the air filter. Engine oil was changed with Rotella 15W40, and other fluids were checked and topped off if needed, including wheel hubs and axles. The entire lift has been greased.
• The diesel, turbocharged, Cummins B5.9-C engine is strong and fires right up. There is no excessive smoke. All valve cover gaskets have just been changed. The lift is quick and nimble, especially for its size.
Additionally, we installed the following new parts
• new 8D battery with 1400 CCA
•new transmission oil temperature gauge
• new battery amp gauge
•5 new exterior work lights
• new Federal strobe light on top of cab
• new air horn with new valve and new pull chain
• new Federal backup alarm
• new blower motor in heater under seat
•new rubber floor mat in the cab
•new windshield wiper
• 6 new tires and tubes
• new breather on axle
• new diaphragm in each brake chamberand 2 new brake slack adjusters
• 6 new OEM Cummins valve cover gaskets
The factory forks are 8” wide x 71” long. I am including a set of almost brand new extensions made from 1/2” thick steel tubing. Each extension is 8” wide x approx 120” long x 4” and angled at the end. They slip over the existing forks completely. Sorry, I didn’t include any pics of the extensions. The inside distance between the forks, when they are spread out to their max width, is 68”. Again, this lift has a side-shift but no fork positioner.
A key and a copy of the owner’s manual, as well as a complete set of parts manuals, will be included.
It is my understanding that the USNR Forano Eaves brand was somehow connected to an engineer from the Taylor Big Red Forklift company in Louisville, Mississippi. This particular lift was built in Canada in 1999. It was used a large production facility in Mississippi by a large corporation, and it was well-maintained while it was in use. The facility was shut down, and the lift was left under cover and unused for almost the last 10 years. I believe the hour Meter at 4750 is accurate, but I cannot guarantee this 100%. Parts and technical service for this lift are still available through Cantry Forklift out of Nacogdoches, Texas. Here are several articles about the Eaves Forano company.

This is a used lift with normal cosmetic “wear and tear”. The paint is faded. Additionally, there are scuffs, scrapes, areas of paint wear and paint loss, and some minor surface rust in places. There was some sort of insulation affixed to the interior surfaces of the cab, but most of this has been removed. I am not trying to hide anything, so please study the photos and videos, as they clearly and accurately represent the cosmetic condition of the lift. Lots more photos and also several videos are available (see Dropbox link). None of the cosmetic imperfections affect the operating condition or the lifting capabilities of this lift.
Asking price is $25,000.
