Manitexliftking LK16000

1996 LK16000 has a very low profile to fit in areas with height restrictions. This LiftKing is capable of water-fording up to 5 feet. It operates with 4x4 wheel drive and 4x4 wheel steering. It also can pivot the entire chassis in either direction, while maintaining your load in a level position. We are including two sets of forks. The original ones which are shorter and a longer set (the ones you see in the pictures). This was ideal for us to carry long wheel base trucks in our salvage yard. All the controls work perfectly. There are no leaks or blow back from motor. This unit has and still is maintained professionally. There were two tilt hydraulic cylinders, right side and left side(the ones that tilt the fork frame forward and back) recently replaced. The LK16000 is equipped with a hydraulic removable rear counter weight. This was something that was crucial for the military to facilitate during air transportation in a C130 and C5 aircraft. It has a flat green paint job to it, something that was ordered by the military. All the lights do work on the forklift. The tires have good tread depth to them still. We believe they are foam filled too. We have the original owners manual to go with this too. The hour meter is reading 2561 hours. It has a Detroit Diesel engine, which runs great. This forklift is a turn key operating heavy equipment machine. This is capable of operating in temperatures -30c to +40c. The forks can move in and out hydraulically (width wise). Go up and down, tilt back and forwards. It also has a crab crawl control in 2wd or 4wd mode. The only bad thing to mention is the top glass to the cab is crack from something dropping on it. The cab seals up nicely with the doors closed. While this may not be a Caterpillar, Volvo, Case or what other popular brand you know. Its a piece of history to own that works perfectly. This Forklift would be great for a large salvage yard or dry docking business. This beast will lift just about anything...sort of speaking. Look for some videos we have posted of it running.
