classifieds board Hard to find MC 6000 RTL ForkliftEx military unit, 471 Detroit Diesel starts and runs excellent, even on cold winter days.1800 hrs, 4 wheel drive, axle disconnect, three steering modes (crab, two wheel and 4 wheel), strong hydraulics, overall good condition. Frame tilt cylinder leaks and should be repacked.  All other cylinders have been repacked by previous owner in the last 5 years. 14.00-24 tires are fair at best.84" carriage width, with 48" forks rated at 6000 lb - 24" load centerNote: has transmission issue.  Transmission has three forward and reverse speeds, and works, however sometimes it acts like a clutch disconnect cuts in (won't climb onto the trailer). IT builds torque with engine rpm then cuts out. I don't have a book, and have not looked into it.  It may be something simple, it may need transmission work. Buy it as a good working machine that needs transmission attention, or buy it for parts.  Unit weights about 20,000 lb,  Trucking Available
