Sellick Slp60 Rough Terrain Forklift - 6000lbs Lift And Long Forks - Low Height
classifieds board This is a heavy duty rough terrain forklift. It was sold to me as an unknown forklift with a John Deer engine. With research I believe it is a Sellick Low Profile SLP60 Rough Terrain Forklift with a giant and very loud diesel engine that is also called a "Chicken Hustler". One of the great things about this forklift is that it fits in a standard garage! With the forks down obviously, it can roll right into a normal garage door opening no problem. This makes it easy to transport and store. It can lift 6000lbs and has extra long forks on it.It is a rough terrain so the tires are giant and it can climb pretty steep grades. I have no idea how many hours are on it. No idea how old it is. It does start right up with a fully charged battery. It has been spray-painted (poorly) by the previous owner. I use it once a month for about 15 minutes to unload battery pallets. My business has evolved and now I don't need this forklift anymore. Just need a smaller one or a pallet jack since I don't have to go up a steep driveway anymore. It does have some issues. Mainly, there is a leak in the hydraulic lines. I believe it is coming out of one of the fork cylinders. One of them has been previously welded. The parking brake doesn't work, I use chock blocks. The brake cylinder may be on its way out. Overall, it is a great machine and works. If you need a casual use forklift to get in rough areas or around tricky Colorado terrain, this is it. If you're a mechanic you could probably get it top notch for a grand. I had planned on fixing these things but they weren't important and my use light enough it didn't matter. I had a professional mechanic look it over and was quoted about $2k to get the lines and cylinder fixed (welded and replaced). But I have never needed to.This thing is heavy. When I had it shipped, they weighed it in at 16000lbs. It cost $2500 to move it about 2000miles with a flatbed. So approximately $1.25 a mile. You pay and arrange for freight shipping, but I can help if you need. I can help load it and be there for pickup at a mutually agreeable time. You are also welcome to pickup the item for free. Not trying to make any money on shipping, you pay what you need to in order to collect it. SHIPPING IS NOT FREE! You will have to pay at your own expense to collect it or freight it from my address in Colorado, 80919.Will require at least 50% payment upfront and the remaining 50% due within 7 days of auction end.
