White MA40

Up for sale is an older White MA40 Mobilift forklift. This is a 7400lbs machine and is rated to lift 4000lbs. Has a Continental F163 gasoline powered engine and a fwd/rev torque converter transmission w/ declutch. This lift has the short-style triple mast (White's "High-Free-Lift") for getting in tight places and has working side-shift. The engine and transmission for this machine were both recently disassembled and gone through. Transmission was completely inspected and resealed, including clutch packs and control valve. Engine had new camshaft installed and a valve job (ground & lapped). Pistons/cylinders, bearings, crank, oil pump, etc were all inspected and found in good condition. Engine was reassembled with all new gaskets and seals. It also has a brand new flywheel ring gear, starter, battery, and key switch.I have owned this machine for about 10 years and it has been a surprisingly strong and reliable forklift; very well built. It's done a lot of work for me and with the recent maintenance, it should have plenty of life left. All of the parts it's ever needed have been readily available still. It's a solid tire machine, and is perfect for hard surface use. It will go outside pretty well if the ground is dry and hard, but it's definitely not something for the mud. Everything is working on it, including the brakes.
