classifieds board Selling this 1970s vintage White MA40 Mobilift solid tire forklift. This is a 4000lbs capacity lift and has a good running 4-cyl Continental flathead gasoline engine. Machine weighs in at 7400lbs and is turn-key ready to work. Good engine, strong transmission and hydraulics, good brakes and steering. Features a triple mast to keep overall collapsed height low and has the optional sideshift attachment in good working condition. Comes with a nice set of 46" forks. Machine is running in all pictures.This lift has had a good amount of recent work done including: remove & disassemble engine, replace camshaft, inspect all internal parts and reseal/gasket completely. Disassemble, inspect transmission and overhaul fwd/rev clutch packs and control valve. New flywheel ring gear and starter motor. New battery. Some new hydraulic hoses as needed. Rebuild sideshift hose reel and swivel joint. All new fluids. Really a well-built, nice older gasoline forklift. Parts are still available through places like Minnpar. Mainly meant for firm surfaces, but goes pretty good outside as long as the ground is hard. We have put plenty of hours on this machine over the years, it is reliable and ready for your work.
